City of Arcadia - Landfill
The City of Arcadia landfill is closed. All landfill items are now handled by Hilltopper Refuse & Recycling Services located at 1420 E Wanek Avenue.
Compost & Brush Disposal
Compost and brush may be disposed of at the Street Department shop located at 405 S Sobotta Street into properly labeled bins.
City residents needing to dispose of a truck load of brush may contact the Street Department Monday - Friday from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm by calling 863-0790. If you need to have the brush picked up at your residence you may stop by the city office to schedule a pick up time and pay the $25 (per load) fee.
Dumpster Rental
Dumpster can be rented from the City of Arcadia for $25.00 per load. Dumpsters will be picked up 1 week from the date of delivery unless you have paid for another week at City Hall. All dumpsters must be pre-paid at City Hall. NO ELECTRONICS, WOOD, IRON, COMPOST, CARPETING OR OTHER BUILDING MATERIALS can be place in the dumpster.
